Oscar Nominees Gather for Traditional Photo Session

The Oscar nominees, including Ariana Grande and Timothée Chalamet, gathered at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles for a traditional photo session before the ceremony, reflecting solidarity after recent wildfires.

Ariana Grande, Adrien Brody, Timothée Chalamet, and Fernanda Torres were some of the nominees for the 97th edition of the Oscars who gathered at the Academy Museum of Hollywood to take the traditional photo of the most prestigious awards in the film industry. The event replaced the canceled Hollywood Academy Luncheon, scheduled for February as a gesture of solidarity with the victims of the fires in Los Angeles.

The gathering at the museum brought together nominees, Academy governors, and members of the press, providing an opportunity to socialize before the official photo was taken. Among those present was musician Adrian Quesada, nominated for Best Original Song for 'Like a Bird' from the movie 'Sing Sing,' who expressed his gratitude for the event.

Some attendees, like Adrien Brody, Edward Norton, and Timothée Chalamet, appeared confident and chatted among themselves while being congratulated by colleagues. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo stood out for their friendliness, cheering on the other nominees during the photo session.

At the event, actresses such as Fernanda Torres, also nominated, and Zoe Saldaña shared affectionate moments with their colleagues. Torres, excited about her nomination, expressed her wish for her film 'I'm Still Here' to win the award.

The night also featured the presence of Jane Fonda and Coralie Fargeat, the only woman nominated in the Best Director category. Some prominent nominees of the season, such as Kieran Culkin, Guy Pearce, and Karla Sofía Gascón, were not present.

The 97th edition of the Oscars will take place next Sunday at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, where the film 'Emilia Pérez' is the most nominated with 13 nominations.
